Yes shame on you Olympic, LOL. No Ski Doo deserves to be ignored that long Your project is looking great! Did you get a new track from GB Distribution? I put one of his on my 70 TNT, but I haven't run it through any paces yet to see how it goes.

Yes Vince I'm hoping it will be a blast once I get it all finished just got to stay on it but I keep getting pulled away from it.
I know Mark I just can't believe it's been this long because the last pictures that I posted was the last I worked on it. I Did get a track from GB Distribution finally took a long time but he had to get enough orders in to make them. I also got a track from a place called sledtracks I had an email into them when the tracks were available so I got one of them little more money but I will use it somewhere in one of theses.

Seeing how the seat looks and getting the tabs spotted to weld on. Didn't get much time to work on it tonight.

Yes sir I ordered it when I first started on this project does look really good thinking of getting one for the 370 just so it would look original but that seat is in really good shape.

Working on the gas tank used evop rust for a few days got some stuff clean but now I see these chunks and it still looks bad so I guess I'm force to cut the tank open and really clean it.

That’s hard to tell what it is, but it’s not hard to tell that it’s not too smooth! Is it rusty? Will a wire rope on a drill help?

That is a photo I took with my bore scope camera not the greatest I know. These Photos are what it looks like inside the tank after I cut it open tonight.

Oh boy… ya no amount of wire rope down the tube would have got that all cleaned out. Reminds me of what my 66 was like when I opened up that tank amazing how much crud builds up in there to go with all the rust. What did you end up doing to clean it up?

Coming along nicely! Curious how the shipping was on the gb track ? I thought I saw a price of 550, seemed pretty fair but was curious on how hard the shipping would be on the wallet !

Nice work on that tank olympic. Wow, there was a ton of crud in there. I've got a 70 12/3 that's been sitting in a shed for 15 years with "fuel" in the tank. It was probably siting like that for 10 years before I got my hands on it. I can imagine that's what it looks like inside that tank.

Got some time in last couple of days been trying to get the inside of this gas tank really clean but having a hard time getting up in the front clean. Do you guys think this is clean enough for coating the tank. More of the gas tank cleaning. Made the plate to weld up the hole.

Quite the lunar landing scene when you zoom in. I’ve never sealed a tank before, but if there is no more loose pieces then it’s probably good. I'd imagine you would still want to run a big inline filter.
