I was able to get out for a quick spin around my property yesterday on the measly 2" of snow we had. It has since melted due to it raining all night. Here's a short snippet of it running beforehand. The Hermit used to say this this little 250 would sit there all day and idle, and just sip gas. I miss his presence on this site as well as many others.
Next time I get it out I'll have to have my wife get a video of it actually running over snowflakes. She ran flawlessly and I must say this little sled is a blast to ride. I'm planning to bring it to a vintage show in Gowanda, NY next weekend, 1/16/2022 so I wanted to give it a little trial run since there is supposed to be a 10 mile vintage ride at that event. Some of you may remember what happened last year during a vintage ride event with my upper chain case bearing. I didn't ride more than a couple of miles yesterday, but stopped a few times to feel that area of the chaincase to see if it was getting hot. It was a little warm, but I believe from heat transfer from the secondary shieves. Nothing raised a red flag. Anyway, hopefully a better video next time. Maybe I need to get myself one of those fancy Go-Pros and a selfie stick.
