snorander I picked up a spare motor for my sled. Ran great. I pulled it from the donor sled and it is currently sitting on my work bench. What is the best way to pickle it for storage? DO I just pick up a spray can of fogging oil and spray in in the cylinders through the spark plug holes & intake and spin the motor a few times? Thanks! Steve
SLEDRZ Put the MAG side at TDC and put oil in the plug hole. Spray fogging oil in the intake. Do the same for the PTO side. Rotate the motor slowly and repeat procedure. Put the plugs back in and cover the intake and exhaust.
snorander Thank you very much!!

I like to spray it into the carb first when its running to get it into the carb too. It will bog it down and might even snuff it out. Shut 'er down and then do the pickling as mentioned above
