Not a Doo, but the principle will be the same. On this tank I also welded a stainless steel mesh over the repair. I have been doing this to a buddies mega gallon water tanks and the welds have been holding. Enjoy! ddubstoys.com/repair_of_a_polyethylene_fuel_ta.htmlmoxymech1

I think this one should be pinned so I can find it during the season, god knows I will need it for the elans (bushrunnin') sledrat
Good job bud stovepipe699
What machine would you recommend? I've wanted to get a plastic welder for years, I'd really like to repair things around the farm instead of patching with rivets or replacing parts. My kids belly pan on his Starlite needs work, and parts are not cheap because they didn't sell a lot of them.
