Hi guys,
Back in the day someone sold exhaust pipe stuffers to increase the pipe back pressure for the triples. Does anyone know who made them, or the dimensions of them? They were just a tube with a flange that was stuffed into the end of the pipes and you just put the stock muffler back on. Any info would help.
Thanks, Tom

Tom you would think that restricting the final output would do that no? Not sure what the goal is (maybe mach pipes on a blizz 650?), but you could just try and see with different tubes pushed into the ends of the pipes. IF you had access to a lathe you could make a bunch of different inner sizes.. ?

Sorry, I replied but apparently I screwed up on the posting part. They were tube inserts with a flange that was inserted into the pipes prior to the exhaust can. They were a bit of a lake racer trick to put heat in the pipes faster. They would be relatively easy to make, but I just don't have the dimensions. The 700 and 800 both used the same pipes, so they helped the 700 out quite a bit.

Got ya. Any idea on the year? That link that Dando just posted might have a manual that mentions it..

It was during the 95-2001 era. I believe my buddy had some on his 96 Mach Z, and his 97 Mach 1 700. There may actually have been a race prep update out there at the time.
