You really shouldn't use any jaw puller on the flywheel. They can and will do damage to the advance mechanism or the magnets. Some ceramics. I have used a steering wheel style puller on a on a twin style flywheel effectively however still prefer the ease and safety of the correct style. There are many ways and many jerry rigs, but what you may save in time and money on the puller may cost you in broken parts. Also keep in mind many good dealers will allow you to bring an engine in and they will do it for you. Maybe free maybe 5.00, and if it's a one time deal may be the way to go.

To own the "right tools" One needs:
1. for 292-335-340 one cylinders---38mm internal female threaded puller ds650-motion pro-or 420-976-235 Ski Doo
2. for 304, 399, 440, 640,etc twins--Puller 529-035-547(external male threads)
and pan holder 420-876-081. The pan is bolted to flywheel then the puller screws into the pan.
Nothing like correct tools!

So this will work on the 292, 299, 320, and 335 single Rotax bubble nose motors?
