So has anyone been working on an old doo recently? Any projects on the go? I had some time off and finally got to go through some old engines in the shop. Surprising how many parts I had laying around that accumulated over the years. I now have a shelf that is piling up with running and cleaned up engines. Was able to get two 302's, a 247, a 320 and a 70 335 ready. Glad I spent the time on the 335 I found a bad bearing and a bad seal - was acutally in pieces. Luckily able to use a whole set of cases with bearings from a 320 that had a bent PTO shaft. Just pulled the center part of the bearing off the bad shaft and put onto the 335. Good to go. Now working on two 640's. One is a dual carb with brand new pistons. After that I am hoping to get a 440 and maybe a 399 together if I can find enough parts

No real snowmobile projects, I have been working off and on with my son on getting his mom's 1991 Camaro, just a base V6 hard top car, revived after sitting in a lean to since 2010.
I have a '67 Super Oly project where I have a better chassis (the current machine is totally rotted out in the spindle area) but the "better" chassis needs welding around the right hand spindle area, tunnel top replacement, repair around the engine mount studs, the tank patched. I am also adding a '70 steering support and making the hood a lift off.
I have re sealed the 299 and it runs great, and have new sprockets to go on along with all new bearings when I strip the existing machine for parts.
THEN I will take the old chassis with the rotted front bulk head, and make a tow behind out of it.
ONE DAY....

Camaro project sounds like a fun one, regardless of the v6 hard top.
Your 67 sounds like a good project - it will be like brand new when yer done! Is that down with you in GA? Or doo you have to wait till you're back up north?

Hey gang, while waiting for snow, I decided to try to have some fun making a video. I finally dug out the 75 Oly 300 I've had buried-away for a few years. I need to get back out in the garage and continue with the project. Sorry this video is probably not very good. I'm certainly not "Too Cheap to Smole" or "Rednecks and Dirty Hands" Youtube quality, haha. But hope you guys enjoy it anyway.
