oly_man What is the right spark plug for a 640? TNT engine to be specific. I know our charts on this site say an A7 is what's cross references a Bosch M280T31.. but I've seen other references saying it should be an A8 TIA
Doo640ER I've been using A-8/AB-8 plugs in my 72 Nordic 640 for years. But as you know, this is not the same mill as the TNT engine. I would try the A-8 first since it is a colder plug, then maybe try the A-7s if necessary?
oly_man Ya that's what I was thinking too. Last thing I wanna do is roast a slug first time I wind her up. I won't be able to deploy the parachute lol.

I went to buy some A7s and the supplier told me that they are discontinued.

I guess he's not wrong, but they just added another letter (B) to it and changed the head of the plug size. Probably to reduce the amount of metal going into them. Now A7's are AB7 and same with the other big ones. So the threads are the same, but the hex part is smaller.
