I finally found a 294 emblem for my Silver Bullet but need to know what adhesive would be recommended to bond it to the shroud cover? I'd hate to lose it. I looked at 2 sided tape but the emblem is clear plastic with black background and silver lettering in/under it. I think that a white 2 sided tape will show through. It looks like it was originally bonded with some type of black sealant; eg something like 3M 5200 but reading the product info for that particular adhesive sealant I am not certain it's ideal either as I am concerned the solvent base might eat the black background on the backside of the clear plastic. Anyone have experience or a suggestion?
Similar thoughts about the tunnel reflectors. I think Ill use the two sided tape for the tunnel reflectors per an old forum but if anyone has tips for the reflectors I'm all ears. Thanks

I've had great luck with the 3M "Fine Line" double sided automotive tape, 1/4 inch. It's black with a red backing. I've used it on every badge I've ever needed to fix in place. Hasn't failed me yet. Many household uses also. Very good product. Might be just right for you.

I used something similar to that JoeO. Mine was a dark gray foam double sided tape that sticks very well. I think mine came from Canadian Tire many years ago. Couldn't tell you what brand, but the outer wrap is red. Whatever you choose just be sure to clean both surfaces very well and you will be good to go.
