Many of you remember and/or know Doug (bliz340) from the first OSDS Message Board. He passed away suddenly yesterday. He was one of the first members. Doug, the late Richard S (decoy706), VintageElanGuy, and oldslez really helped get the ball rolling by helping people. We were way before vintage sleds, retrosno, Facebook, and the rest. Doug was a good person.

I remember all of those names here Monty - they all knew their vintage doos very well! Thanks for posting, and thank YOU for giving these guys (and us) a place to get started and offer the help in the first place! Very sad indeed. RIP blizz340.

Thanks for sharing the sad news. It's never easy to think about losing those that have made such a positive impact on this great hobby. I think I joined here in around 2005? and I remember all of those names. Sadly, some have passed away and sadly many moved over to you know where . The only constant is change. Some changes are good and some just plain stink!

I met Doug a couple of times at A-1 and The Classic Sled Round-up. Top notch guy that I bought my Mini-Sno from. RIP
