Been awhile since I posted but I am back and wanted to share. Got this ol' girl one hour North of Ottawa in Quebec where they have sled dogs and snowmobiles on the trail crossing road signs. She is a bit hard looking but still has potential. Dug it out, had to move a canoe, kayak and about 10 hoods, almost wiped out on the ice but what fun would it be if it was just sitting there under a tarp? Solid body, will need motor, seat, track and probably a pile of misc stuff. Gonna save her for retirement in 15 years, hopefully sooner. Odometer reads ~1200 miles. Seller had 4 72 tnt's, this one was the only 292 and all of the hoods except this one had a circle cut out on the right side. I assume they had some modified exhaust on them? I forgot to ask him. $200 with an extra ski. Next time I am there I'll get a photo of the road sign and all the local club decal art on this hoods. I am happy to be back into this after a few years out of a project. YOLO!

I have a windshield here for that if you need one (assuming the 292 wasn't different than the other tnt's)

That's got some great potential. Looks like a great tub underneath, and also has the wide drivers from a 73 tnt. I like those better if the track is happy.

You're a brave dood. That's a major project. I've got parts for that sled... front axle with the wide drivers and all the bushings for the suspension if you need them. Probably some other stuff too. Be happy to help you out. Windshield for the 292 is the same as all the others. The difference is in the center section of the cab. It's a little higher to accommodate the can muffler where as the 340 and 440 had the tuned muffler so a lower profile. Good luck with ! Some inspiration for you, 340 restored

Inspiration and parts, what else does a fella need to take this on? Maybe a 24 and some warm weather.
I showed my old man who appreciates a nice 1979 elan and he was a bit iffy about it all...sized it up for a minute, shook his head, laughed and moved onto the warmth of the house. haha

That's a pretty clean looking 67. How much was the price on that one?
