Hey Doonut send me the the pic and I can post if for you. I have a 66 and 68, but no 67. There are a few fellas here that have a 67 and I'm sure would be happy to fill in the gaps.

Doonut sent me this picture of his kickstand. I've got a 67 myself, but it does not have the kickstand so unfortunately, I'm no help on answering the question. Was this standard issue on all 67 Olys, or was this an option? IMO, it's such a great feature and useful, why would someone remove it?

I'm thinking that they were standard fare for any 67 oly. I like how they look myself. But my guess is they didn't always stay where you wanted them to, which if they came unlatched when bouncing along the fence row might be a pain. Probably also a bummer if you were towing and it fell down on whatever was behind you. Using them as a stand would perhaps change the nice chrome you once had. Just ideas as to why they stopped. Same thing with the 68 alpine, but that outfit you had to pull out of the hoop holsters that kept it in place.

The 67 models had a longer LH link plate bolt that runs through the link plate bushing with a lock nut that secures the spring retainer cup. This longer bolt had about 3/4 to 1in of unthreaded lenght and the kick stand hook notch would latch itself around that bolt to hold the kick stand in place.
