Last month 159, so far this month 136 (must be getting colder). If you don't answer why you want to join or the answer is nonsense you are going to be rejected--every time. When I look up your URL and it's in a naughty country or a place like Thailand or Honduras you "ain't" getting in here.
Trying to keep it real!!!

Last seven days: No new members, 17 rejects. This is getting ridiculous, but easy. No message on why or URL from a naughty country, I hit the reject button.

I bet there is people that don't know what a snowmobile even looks like golly these scammers are getting desperate. It's crazy. A lifelong friend just got scammed out of $300 on Facebook Marketplace. She paid via PayPal using the friends and family option (no recourse) for a couch listed in a town eight miles from her in northern Michigan. I got involved to help along with the police. They were using pictures (Facebook Profile) for a young family in Florida. The gmail account used was deleted as soon as the money hit their bank overseas. Sucks!

Imagine the amount of these that happen everyday and the work required for law enforcement to track down who is responsible at the keyboard, next to impossible!

One definitely needs to Doo one's research when sending money via Paypal. Crooks are everywhere, sad but true. I've never been scammed out of money and I hope I don't in the future. I'm generally a trusting person, but when it comes to my hard earned $$$$ I take it cautiously. I always pay, and receive funds in cash, in person when using Craigslist. (I don't Doo facebook). I only use Paypal with reputable sellers also. Sometimes not easy to figure out who you can trust. Sometimes people (Guys on Dootalk specifically) ask for a picture of the item with a shoe in it to prove they are real and the picture is recent. If you challenge someone and they have a problem with it, then they are scammers most likely.
Just my US$0.02... CAD$0.026

Long Distance: Put it on ebay, buy-it-now, send me the link, and I'll buy it ASAP. If they are not willing, like Charles Bronson said, "Good-Bye!" Nearby: Meet me either the local State Police Post or Sheriff's Office Parking Lot. Then I pull a Clint Eastwood, "You going to meet up or Whistle Dixie?"

"Hello good sir, My name is Kensington, I would please like to buy your Craiglist item" I actually got that one time when posting a sled for sale. I don't normally reply to that waste but I couldn't resist. I told him no one by the name of Kensington has ever ridden a snow mobile and to crawl back under his rock.
You are both diligent and vigilant Monty. Thank you. They're like black flies in May and June in northern New England.
My elderly mom got suckered for $4500 a couple of years ago. My brother was in jail they said, DUI. Need the loot to bail him out. Target gift cards, she fell for it. Still has a pit in her stomach. Imagine my rage at that scum when I got home from work that day. Reimbursed her so she was relieved in the moment. She'll never forget that violation.
What the hell is wrong with people today? We didn't grow up like this. Our parents taught us well. Maybe it's just that we were sheltered in a civil society long gone. Today it's wide open with no holes barred. The loss of trust is a grievous one in the 21st century.

Not sure when it started but my parents taught us kids to respect people, help out others when there having problems, be courteous like holding a door open for a person. Now adays kids have no respect for others and it starts from the top and these scammers are just getting worse and worse. I am trying to teach my kids how I was brought up but I keep having railroad blocks coming up. These I pads and cellphones are the worse thing that could happen to these kids to much junk out there on them.
