Short notice, sorry, but here are a couple of upcoming shows in the Western NY and Western PA region. Is there anyone else near me that might be attending? June 13th July, Oct and Jan shows!

After the event ... flyer doesn't have Province or State address; phone or contact info. If you didn't know it was in Cherry Creek, NY ...

After the event ... flyer doesn't have Province or State address; phone or contact info. If you didn't know it was in Cherry Creek, NY ... Sorry about that, yeah the flyer was a little vaugue, eh? Here are a few pics from the show. For a first-time event, not a bad turnout. Since it was a "Powersports Show" there was alll sorts of cools stuff there. Word on the street was that a group of young kids formed a powersports club and this was a fundraiser for them. Good for them! I think it's awesome when the youth of today is interested in this old iron, and not sitting on their duff playing video games. Great group of kids and great weather to boot, although it was a little to hot for my taste. My 67 took the award for best antique sled. There were not many to compete with, but I'll take it, LOL. You can see I finally added my own touch to the original hood. The Plaisted Polar Expedition decals. So now I've officially given it my own addition, ready for the next collector when the time comes. Also, if you look under the blue tent, you can see my latest addition to my collection. A couple of original plywood panels from a ski doo shipping crate. I got three of them off Craigslist for cheap!

Great location for an event. I've never seen two Gorskis at one place at the same time ever, awesome! Congrats on your award, very nice sled! I see this event getting much bigger next year.

Right on! I thought I recognized a few sleds there! It's good when a new event like that pulls some attention and does well. Especially these days. Cudos and wish I could have been there. Well done Mark!!
And whoever hand drew that flyer was talented! That alone would have gotten me to go if I could have!

I've never seen two Gorskis at one place at the same time ever, awesome! The owner (can't remember his name) actually has a few Gorskis! I've met him at a few shows now. Nice fella and probably the most knowledgeable guy about these sleds, with the exception of the sled builder himself, Ray Gorski and he has talked to him a few times to pick his brain. He's still alive too and I think he's around 90 years old now. The Gorskis were made about an hour East of me, first inb Corry, PA, then in Findaly Lake, NY. Funny story,......at the Findlay Lake show last year, the owner was driving the dark green metalflake one and missed a turn and ran into the right ski on my 67. I just about had a heart attack! Surprisingly, it actually buffed-out. That PPG Delfleet Essentials paint is tough stuff!

And whoever hand drew that flyer was talented! That alone would have gotten me to go if I could have! Vince, that second flyer, the hand-drawn one, is for an event that is happening next month on the 17th. I'm planning to attend that one. There are additional dates on the flyer as well. So my point is: ROAD TRIP!!! If that boarder opens up, LOL.

Yesterday was yet another day of unrelenting rain in the North East, so my friend Tony and I made the difficult decision to bow-out from traveling 2+ hours to the show. We spent hours getting ready for it so needless to say we were bummed. I'm really looking forward to when the rain turns to snow. Maybe it's just me, haha.
