Its always sad when we lose a fellow vintage sledder. I'm not sure I have ever purchased anything from him, but I know that given more time I likely would have eventually. I've had his website saved as a favorite for a while now, along with the other regular sellers of vintage sled parts.
R.I.P. Bob, may your trails be forever smooth.

I haven't had the pleasure to ever buy anything from him, nor really knew him. Regardless its sad when this happens and the sport will definitely miss him and his passion. R.I.P.

Sad News. I bought few parts from Bob. He was such a great guy to deal with.

Very sad to hear. Just bought a small list of parts from him back in January. Was a pleasure to deal with.

That is horribly tragic. I can relate though. A very good senior citizen friend of mine met a similar fate. He pulled up to an ATM machine one day. He got too close and bumped against the the post protecting the machine. Aggravated, he went to get out of his car to inspect the damage. Failed to put the car in park. As he stepped out the car ran over him. Put him in a comma. He died a week later.
We go through so many motions in our life by rote. We never stop to think. After that tragedy I never ever open the driver's side door without putting my foot on the brake and my eyes directly on the shifter into park. Then I look at it twice. I Think of that guy every single time I go through that drill. He could still be alive enjoying his grand kids but for that one moment of frenzy. Very tragic. RIP ski doo Bob.

Safety first for sure! Tough lessons. I saw a friend lose two fingers when helping jump start a car. When hooking 'em them up for some reason the dude turned the key (before the OK), he was startled, stood up, hit his head on the hood, fell into the front of the engine (belt) and hand went between the belt and A/C Compressor. When I help people jump start their autos I make them give me the key(s) first or lay them on the dash.

Anyone have Bob's Obit link? Tough last couple of years for the family ... Bob's Dad (as I understand it) passed away in 2019.

I have searched the Internet a few times in the last week and have come up with nothing. Usually Google finds everything I look for However in this case I am coming up empty handed.
