Great memories being made there. Treasure them always.. they grow up way too quick. I’m sure she’ll be really excited on that first ride!

That's great right there! If she can stand doing that job, she's on the right path towards vintage sleddin! It's not the most fun or always the most cooperative process. I see a carcass hangin around in the background, looks like another father/son/daughter project. What's up with it??

Thanks powerwagon75 she was all excited this morning that I finished it up and she got herself dressed and hopped on it. When I fired it up she became nervous from seeing the big one lunger rattling away and said you drive dad I'll ride. So I did tried to get her to run the throttle but gun shy still in time she will come around. I think my wife either has a video or pictures on her phone will post if she does.
Thanks Doo640ER that carcass hanging is my 69 370 that my uncle bought brand new and then my dad bought it off from him a year later because my uncle wanted a 70 399 nordic. Years ago the engine was acting up when it would warm up backfire and loose spark. Dad and I tinkered with it when we had time together but I was so busy with work didn't work on it a lot and then my dad passed suddenly so it sat for a long time couldn't look at because it hurt to much. Then I found this board and my passion for these old doos came back and hermit told me that the condenser was probably bad and that was the only thing that wasn't replaced so I replaced it and bang ran like a top until the drive sprockets came apart. Slowly but surely working on it hopefully this summer I can sandblast it and get it painted.

I know its short but my little helper finally got the nerve to put her thumb on the throttle and drive. Proud dad here she'll be 5 next month.
