Hi all Its been a long time since I have posted on here , I need some help, I have a friend that has a very nice 245 RV TNT pic of the actual sled he now owns and we want to freshen the top end at least rings , maybe pistons so I would like a full gasket set and rings for sure and ideas, Where do we turn to nowadays. Ron "Goose" Thomsen would likely be your best bet. The piston and rings for 1975 were unique to that year, however 1976 250 pistons with rings will work.

Would you be able to get the dimensions of the suspension strap and hole positions, so I can confirm whether mine is the correct strap? Thank you. Colin in Winnipeg

Keep in mind that the 75 and 76 pistons for the 245's also have a different dome profile. The same is also true for the type 345 pistons. I can't recall the piston dome casting numbers off the top of my head. The 75 are taller, and can result in a "backwards" squish angle in some situations.
