What is everyone doing with their time at home? i just came up with a great idea to keep the kids busy for the next month or two!! I have an excellent specimen of nineteen seventy one Skidoo Olympic 335 in the shed. I pulled it out for the kids to paint and rebuild with my help of course. I will start a new thread and post pics of progress.
what are you doing to pass the time? Ray

"I'm fixing a hole where the rain comes in" I went out to the shop last night and looked overhead. Insulation saturated and water dripping on to the floor. Will be out there all weekend. Tearing out the insulation first, then stripping and re-roofing.

When not working on next sled project ('68 ski-doo for vintage rides) digitizing family two generations of 35mm slides, negatives, and photographs. Save space for "old folks home" down the road and I don't want to lift family album books and 73 trays of slides.

I have a lot of projects, decided to put a sled aside to get at my neglected truck- trying to learn some video editing software, so I can splice clips together, add captions etc- anyone have experience with that? YouTube used to have a simple editing program but not any more. I want to do better than just load a raw video clip. This video has about three seconds of nothing between two clips. I'm using the free version of DaVinci Resolve 16. Just need practice. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cPmurl1dXo&t=2s

digitizing family two generations of 35mm slides, negatives, and photographs. That's a good project Monty, well worth the effort. I got that done a couple of years ago. Worked on it in the evenings for the better part of a year. Just about every image went through photoshop for some degree of repair. The really old damaged prints were time consuming. I set my sub folders up by individuals and various family groupings. Chronological order was too vague with many of the earlier photos and that's not how I tend to recall a particular picture anyway. Fortunately my mother was/still is alive and alert and was very helpful in identifying friends and relatives that were before my time. In the end the entire family album looked better than ever, several thousand images. One thumb drive to my brother and another into the safety deposit box.

Joeoly that sucks a$$ with the roof. I had that several years ago in my house - small bathroom on main floor got a soggy roof from the bathroom above it... ugly. THat will keep you busy for a while. I am at just waiting for a few more pieces for the tnt to arrive, then I can call it done for now. Now I am starting to revive a 62 Speedex garden tractor. Going to keep it stock for now. I want to roll the lawn with it. Not much more in store for it than that. Once it works I can focus on finishing the 66 oly. BTW - welcome to the board OLDTNT's!

I'm gonna finish putting my Nordic back together after swapping out the track and installing new drivers and axle bearings and seals. Then I'm moving on to installing a new starter on my 2002 Cub Cadet 3184 tractor.
Yes, welcome to the board OLDTNT's!
