Last week I had the 292 out, and its been working great since the last mods. That is until last week. Was running it on a few high speed rips, then going somewhat slow and it started slowly back firing. It kept getting worse until the more throttle you added the more violent the back firing and bogging until it died.
Sat there and pondered.... after it sat for a while I tried it again and it worked great .... for about a minute, then did it all over again. I just got it home, and pulled it out. Went about putting another engine into the sled. Now she is sporting a 320 I just put together.
So I did a little googling and read that it might be a leaning situation? Like a crank seal? My guess (if it IS a crank seal) that its the rubber o-ring behind the clutch???
