Thank you for the reply. I drilled and tapped a 1/4 hole in the center of where the stop is supposed to be and put a small bolt through a chunk of rubber in its place, with the bolt head sunk in to the rubber. This will do until I can find a better replacement. To bad they don't make them anymore...

I am in e process of assembling my 377 after a teardown and refresh. I am wondering about the alignment plate used to align the cylinders. Can I just use the intake manifold to align the cylinders? Or should I trace out the intake manifold and make a plate?

I know it helps to align things up, but I've always managed by putting both manifolds on as best you can for simple alignment. Then torque the heads down. You can take the manifolds back off if it helps get the rest back together before final assembly of the engine. The biggest reason for trying to align the cyls us so there is no problems getting the carb and exhaust manifolds to fit properly once yoy get to them.

Figured I would post a couple of update pictures..... Here is one after the belly patch was installed and another after a coat or two of paint and one more after installing the skis, handlebars and skid/track The motor is rebuilt and has spark with the new cdi flywheel and stator, I just need to polish up the hood and windshield, install the seat and front bumper, secondary clutch, and a bunch of other odds and ends. I need to fab up some kind of hood hinge too, the original ones are broken. I definitely have a new appreciation for you guys who have rebuilt machines from the ground up, its a long process.

Looking good Dando!
Did you ever locate the rubber suspension bump stops? I'm parting out an 80 Citation 4500 that might have them. Still need to get the suspension and track removed from this sled. Lots of other parts available also. I know you are north of me Eh? So shipping may be cost prohibitive, but let me know if you're interested if I have them. Think Snow!!

Those rubber stops are riveted onto one of the arms on the suspension. You will have better luck selling the whole suspension, and you are right....shipping would probably kill the deal anyway. Thanks for the offer though !!! I have just enough snow right now to make me want more .....

The rubber stops have been on my swap meet list for a long time and have been very hard to find. Resorted to using something similar to these on my 70 sliders. Dimensions are on the site. Won't match the oem profile.
fyi - looks like goose has started to make some of the bump stops
