Green and Gold
Looked a long time for something with the correct ID (7/16), was temperature stable, and rated for exposure to petrochemicals. These were the only aftermarket products I found that met all the above plus an acceptable bend radius (so short radius bends wouldn’t kink them). These three run the price range.
--Versilon C-210, US Plastics number 56419. Rated to 160 degrees, $2.36/foot, 10 foot increments
--Excelon Excelthane Polyurethane tubing, USP number 54514. Rated to 200 degrees. $42 for a 25 foot section. Also sell another with a 7/16 id but a thicker wall diameter for $52/25 feet. USP # 54515. I like the 3/32 wall diameter stuff.
-- Versilon FEP (USP #58085 Rated to 400 degrees, sounds like it’s indestructible. 50 foot sections only, $4.25 foot (ouch). Wall thickness might preclude some of the tight bends needed for the tank-to-crankcase run as this stuff is rated for four inches.
You use to be able to buy one OEM tube section (something like 28 inches) cheaper at a dealership, but if you’re doing multiple sleds, 10 to 25 foot sections would be cost effective.
BTW, the Tygon 4040 yellow fuel line everyone loves is only rated to 165 degrees, so oil line rated between 150 and 200 degrees should work.
