Well for the first time in ten years it snowed WHILE my family and I were at her mom's place where I have three skidoos. They get snow every winter to some degree but never when I can be there, or not enough to make it worth the specific drive, or never when I can get there on a weekend. This time it rained all day on the 24th and they said changing to snow and 3-6". I didn't get too excited, but sure enough it happened. And it stayed below freezing long enough to stay around, and enough that I could go outside the fence and further up the drive. Here's a little youtube playing in the snow and some pics www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjvKCcBYqugA couple shots from the phone here-

LOL my Springer Spaniel "Thor" for some reason thought the sled was attacking. He loved the snow and would eat snowballs tossed to him. Here's a vid from my wife's phone where you can hear my custom "pipe" on my 318 Oly lol! www.youtube.com/channel/UCCLaPu0KBOjaFIIG_Wibujw

Thanks folks! Yep the 69 oly and 71 Elan last were ridden on snow December 2018 when we hauled them half and hour and 1,000 ft elevation to some off trail, the "Kenworth" hadn't seen the white stuff since 2015 or so. It seems when they get a good snowfall, it's never when I can get there as it is a 7 hr drive one way, or they get snow on Tuesday and then on Thursday it's rain and 55* you know what I mean.
There's a decent ATV trail system I can access hauling a town away but they'll need at least 8-10" for me to try that, I have ridden a quad on it and there are lots of rocks thus they would need some cover.
There's no laws on "snowmobiles" specifically I can find there, and the trail system for the ATV's is run by an organization that has passes, so as long as I can have a "trail pass" which is a sticker that goes on your helmet, I will just say "Hey, it's an all terrain vehicle!"

Looks like a good time great when the snow gods bless you like that. I am in Maryland now and get snow like that here one day gone tomorrow. No snow last year only 5" twice the year before. Did terrorize the neighbors with the 72 yard Oly those couple of days. Luckily I have a camp in the adrondaks of NY get to ride there. Im up there now and Supposed to get some snow tonight I'll keep my fingers crossed

Banoe what part of Maryland? My ex'es family was from out in Frostburg, way out in the western tip between PA and WV, they seemed to get a lot of snow out there.

I'm on the eastern shore near Galena. So not a lot of snow here. I camped in western Md mountains in November in the snow so they do get some there.
