Sweet video Olympic. Glad others are riding also!! Bones, your time will come, just hope it doesn't take much longer! My Christmas miracle was about 15 inches of snow by the time it was all over. Gotta love when the Lake Effect snow machine kicks in! Here's a little snippet I just posted to YouTube from part of yesterday's fun. My 20 yr-old Nephew tearing it up on my 72 Nordic 640. He loved it, glad he's getting interested in Vintage. Not the best video, I'm uploading another, better one now, but still cool. This was the deepest snow that I've ever ridden the Nordic through. Wow, I am impressed with it's ability to just float and plow through. I think it did better than my XP GSX, LOL. youtu.be/oBuRdFU7Om0

Here's part 2 of the Leafer Madness fun! My nephew was really getting into it, sounds like I've got that Nordic running pretty good. youtu.be/tFz0frVfW2I

Hey Olympic, yes it was raining the day before, my frown turned upside down at the end of the 24th when it converted over to snow!. Yeah, my nephew and Brother-in-law are YAMI guys, but I'm slowly and openly trying to convert them to yellow, LOL. My BIL couldn't get his 03 SX Viper running for some reason, so I let him borrow my 02 Legend. He said he really enjoyed how it rode compared to his. I will slowly work him into the Doo community!! Just gotta keep feeding him the Doo-lade.
Six of us went for a ride on the newer stuff last night. The local trails were aweful!! A few mud-holes thanks to those darn four-wheelers! Needless to say, I've got to hose down a couple of sleds today with some nice warm water. Luckily my garage is equipped with it!

Here's one more of the 66. Turns out it's the best running 247 I've had. Though I had to a) change the secondary clutch to be a 68 helix style b) drill new holes to tilt the entire secondary, so it could be closer to the primary. Probably 1/2" or so. c) put a new 1034 dayco max belt on it. That's the reason I had to shorten the distance between pullies. To me the end result is good. The only thing I want to figure out some day is to make the hood removeable. At least its got small bolts now, and not riveted on anymore!

Congrats, looks fantastic! Great job on that 640 and nice to hear how it sounds. Also loved hearing that 66 single sing!
