Hey gang, I'm in need of a couple of parts for my 77 TNT 340f/a. First one is the lid to the metal toolbox. Second one is the rubber chassis plug that goes into the side of the bellypan, directly in front of the primary clutch. This plug is removed when you need to remove the primary. Anyone have these goodies, or at least know what the part numbers are? Thanks,

The hole in belly for the clutch bolt, what is the D of that hole ?? I doo not have a sled around with that hole to check, but some of the mid 90s sleds have a round hole there, I can check the 90s, maybe it is the same ?? Would really open up your search. Bones

Hi Bones, Thanks, never though about the 90's sleds. I measured the hole diameter and it is right about 1-5/8" (1.625"). Someone else let me know that the actual plug measures 1.70" at the large diameter and 1.625" for the groove diameter. Sounds about right. Maybe if you find one lying around you can strap it onto a carrier pigeon and send it my way, LOL.

Hey Doo640, pop one of the idler wheel covers off your Legend & try it in the 77 belly pan. Kinda bulges out in the center but I think it would work if you don`tfind better. I have some other hole plug that are for a 1.55" hole and cover about 1.72", they are smaller and flatter than the legend ones ( would look good if they would work). They are part # 570-2773-002. I am not sure where they came from, I think they are also wheel covers but I am not seeing the # in the parts lists.

Hey Bones, sorry for the delay...I was able to source both the rubber plug and the tool box lid from a nice fella in the next state over and the items arrived yesterday. The tool box lid is in sweet condition. Plug looks good too, not too stiff, not too soft.
Thanks a lot for dooing all that investigative work on this topic. That's is a great idea with the Legend wheel cover, never thought of that. I will probably give it a try just for kicks and we can learn something. Someone must have some info on part# 570-2773-002. A google search yielded zilch!
