I have what I believe is an Alpine backrest that slides into the pockets on the seat support. It does have 40 years of shelf wear on the paint, but the pad is perfect. It is black with heavy grained material. Hopefully that may indicate the year to someone out there. Willing to sell outright, but have no idea as to what the value would be. I am working on a 70 Bubble Blizzard, and a 70 12/3. Open to trades, and 25 minutes away from the St Germain swap.

Nice. Those backrests are a nice finishing touch for a nice restore. Being black it must be newer than a 70...
By the way you better post some pics of those projects! 😁

I will finally have my very first brand new laptop next week. Doing all the posts, pics from a tiny phone has greatly reduced my input for the last 5 years. Could it be something from a Nordic? Yellow posts.

Perfect. Looking forward to the posts.
Ya if that's a wide one with yellow posts it has to be an early (69/70) nordic. Everything later was black down there.

It's definitely older, material is black, not the earlier maroon. Actually has the tape sticker for the part number, or what is left of it anyway. 50 years of shelf wear. Seat back material, and rivets are basically perfect. Someone will need this. I think wide track Nordic is probably correct if the really coarse black grain is correct. I'll try to get a picture up this week when I get the new computer.
